Fellow bloggers not to mention Moms together with their little angels filled the event with fun and creativity as they were taught to create their very own tiny little storybook with no less than the illustrator of the coloring book itself Mr. Elbert Or. He’s best known as the creator of the award winning graphic novel anthology, “Mga Kwento Ni Lola Basyang” and the best-selling “The More the Manyer” Series. He inspired the kids as he shares a bit of his childhood and how he started drawing. Together with him are Ms. Jane Kingsu Chen, Editor-in-Chief of Working Mom the host of the event, and ABS-CBN Publishing’s Managing Director, Mr. Mark Yambot, and Ogalala’s COO, Maye Yao Co Say were there to formally launch the Crayola Super Sized Coloring Book.
The kids enjoyed drawing and coloring their artwork as they unleashed their creativity with Crayola coloring tools, courtesy of the Ogalala store. They really enjoyed the “Pick-Your-Pack” Crayola Station, where kids can pick their own colors.
CRAYOLA’s Super-sized Coloring Book is a 15 page, 10.5 in x 14.5 in (26.67 cm. x 36.83 cm.) coloring book that is big enough for you to say bye-bye to your crayon painted wall, a smart solution for your kids who love to draw and color your precious wall at home, simply the best gift your little love ones should have this holiday season.
One thing more I love about this book is that it’s a coloring book and tourist book all wrapped in one. It showcase Filipino culture with its symbols and famous tourist attractions that are real informative to young minds. Oppps did I forget to mention that the book is just the first of six series? So let your kids join the adventure with siblings Migo and Maya and their pet dog, Bibo as your kids bring them to life as they color every page of the book and take a tour to Manila’s scenic spots – from Intramuros to San Agustin Church, Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral, Rizal Park, and Manila Bay wheeew a learning adventure indeed!
