Native Lands Wash Away as Sea Levels Rise

Global warming caused by burning gasoline, coal and natural gas is melting the ice covers of Greenland, the Arctic and Antarctica. Also it is warming the oceans, and warm water takes up more space than cold water. Sea level will likely increase by 4 feet in the 21st century; much of the Bayou is three feet above sea level. Ironically, several important US refineries are threatened.
